A custom Fall Guys Map
Overview
This project consists of creating a custom map of Fall Guys.
The level comprises areas and obstacles already existing in the original game and an area I designed.
This scenario was made with Unreal Engine 5 using their geometry and prototyping tools.
The main goal of this project is to learn and polish my prototyping and event programming skills using Unreal Engine 5 Blueprints.

Learn and polish my prototyping and event programming skills using Unreal Engine 5.
Design and creation of a new interactive obstacle along with its area on the map.
Learn how to implement existing characters and animations inside Unreal Engine.
Work and iterate on the level pacing.
Design and create a custom map using elements and references from the game and achieving the same feeling as the original game.
Learning in iterating level design projects. Learn how to implement features such as music, lighting, post-processing, etc
The creation process in Unreal Engine 5 for my personal Fall Guys map project consisted of several key phases.
Creation Process
Next, I developed the obstacles and designed the level layout by hand before using Unreal Engine's modelling tool to create the map. Once the map was created, I implemented the obstacles in the areas where I chose to place them and tested the gameplay to iterate and polish the pacing for smooth gameplay on the level.
Then, I implemented the original character with its animations, an initial countdown, background music, post-processing for a better visual look, decoration props and the implementation of a new feature like death.
I started by taking references from the original game, including the colour palette, obstacles and areas of the map that I liked best.
